In this kitchen renovation, Julie aimed to rebuild her kitchen after it suffered massive damage from a hurricane. She wanted to maintain a connection to her riverside home, so she chose natural warm tones to reflect the surrounding environment. Julie fell in love with a unique Timbalada granite slab, 1 1/4" thick, as the highlight of her design. Timbalada has it's mix of dark greens, browns, and tans, became the focal point of her kitchen, especially for the island.
To complement the island, Julie selected Uba Tuba granite for the perimeter countertops, which feature dark green tones that harmonize with the dark green hues on her island slab. The uniform half-bullnose edge detailing throughout the kitchen provides a seamless, cohesive finish with a matching 4" backsplash on the perimeter.
This renovation not only restored Julie's kitchen but also elevated it, blending the natural, earthy tones of the granite with the serene atmosphere of her riverside location.
Thank you,
Julie Ford!
